Fifty words

The TV, clothes, toys, and jewelry. All of them gone. She needed money for school, after all. All she had left was the faded guitar. She caressed it. Her father had given it, before he died.

But…

A man walking by slowed as he eyed the instrument. “How much?

END.

So the fifty word stories inspired me to write one of my own. Fitting, I think. Considering the tuition hike that’s happening in the Philippines now.
